The truth about lying

This world is full of secrets, hiding, grudges, jealousy, and anger. So you can only imagine the amount of liars there are because of these reasons. Some people want to get back at you, some people want to ruin your life at the moment for no valid reason, and some people just find it funny and harmless. But sooner or later, it’s going to come back to hurt you.
I have encountered many people like this, who just tell little white lies, or pointless lies that may not ever matter. But that’s only the start of it, once a liar knows they can fool everyone by saying something so simple, it gives them power. They feed off of your attention to them and it makes them want to go deeper and deeper in their lies. It’s such a dangerous thing to get in to. Lying about what you did yesterday, to lying about what someone said, could ruin friendships and all relationships.
And I get it, it’s hard to stop when you get in deep. That’s why you don’t. You keep yourself from lying about simple things because it won’t make you want to lie more, and people will trust you and someone having trust in you is such a great feeling, that not a lot of people get to have due to their constant lying. Just think to yourself before you lie, “Will this hurt anyone?” And if it does, don’t.
People will notice it sooner than you think. As soon as you tell someone something that isn’t true or maybe halfway true with lies here and there, they may ignore it, for now. They won’t forget it though, they will always remember and always be aware of what that person says to you from now on. They will question every single conversation you have ever had and ever will have. I hope if any people who maybe have lied or have a problem with it are reading this and understand that as soon as it starts to get big, people will notice and they may not tell you but they do notice. And once the lies get too deep, they will slowly distance themselves from you.
The dangerous thing is, liars are so manipulative. Any chance they get, they will make it seem like it was your fault, or make you feel like your overreacting. They will take you for granted because they know their power. It’s such a hard thing to encounter when the time comes. In worse cases, if the person lying gets too constant with what they say, it is very likely they will start to believe it themselves, so it doesn’t even get to the point where they are lying anymore, they have reality mixed up with with what they want to believe or what they made up in their mind. Don’t let them try and make you think something that you know didn’t happen.
So sorry for my little PSA but i’m just here to say, think about what you say or do before you do anything because you could end up ruining something so good. And it’s not too late to change! Check yourself before you wreck yourself am’right? It will come back to hurt you at some point!! Catch yourself!! Don’t tell lies!! They are pointless!!
